The project required a beach house for a couple visiting occasionally during the year. The site has a dramatic ridge line to the north west, a centuries old pine forest to the north, and a picturesque beach and bay to the south east. The design embeds these qualities into the plan. The shower is open to the sky, and the house folds down into a secured, shear object.
